==Family==

Katarina was born in London to Prince Tomislav of Yugoslavia, second son of Alexander I, King of Yugoslavia, and Princess Margarita of Baden. She married Sir Desmond Lorenz de Silva QC (born 13 December 1939) on 5 December 1987. They divorced on 6 May 2010. Their only child is Victoria Marie Esmé Margarita de Silva, born 6 September 1991 in London.
Princess Katarina is distantly in the line of succession to the British throne as a descendant of Victoria, Queen of the United Kingdom.
